The moe.ment.UM Tour will certainly spawn several memorable live music memories for the two bands and their fans. Rising to fame alongside Phish and Widespread Panic, .moe is a six-piece jam rock band formed by a couple of friends from the University of Buffalo. Since their formation 35 years ago, they have created an extensive discography with 14 studio albums, 10 live albums, and five limited edition releases. As an experienced live act, they have performed at some of the most famous events, including Woodstock ‘99, Further Festival, and a couple of Bonnaroo Music Festivals. They have created multiple notable tracks, like Spine of a Dog, Blue Jeans Pizza, and Silver Sun. They have come a long way since teaming up in New York and are now respected touring icons.
Also formed during their college days, Umphrey’s McGee is a multi-faceted band that can seamlessly combine the elements of rock, metal, blues, and jazz to create the most immersive tracks. They are the creators behind Can’t Rock My Dream Face, Booth Love, and Miss Tinkle’s Overture. On their live shows, fans can’t help but feel captivated by their extensive music catalog that features over a hundred original songs from 15 studio albums, 18 live releases, and 10 DVD releases. Umphrey’s McGee actually started their career by covering the songs of .moe, Phish, and Guns N’ Roses, making this joined tour even more sentimental.
