ABOUT RAY LAMONTAGNE

For over two decades, singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne has made waves with his excellent studio albums. The performer from New Hampshire was inspired by music from Ryan Adams, Tim Buckley, Van Morrison. Soon enough, he pursued his music after hearing Stephen Stills on the radio. LaMontagne released trouble in 2011, making a mark in the folk rock scene. The album went platinum in the US and entered the Billboard 200, as well as gaining some incredible traction overseas. He soon followed it up with his sophomore record Till the Sun Turns Black and soared to number on the Billboard 200 and selling over 500,000 copies. By 2008, LaMontagne has become an international sensation with his third album Gossip in the Rain entering the charts in different countries, including peaking at number 3 in the U.S. With nine studio albums worth of incredible, LaMontagne continues to rise and his music consistently gains new listeners. As of 2025, Ray LamMontagne has amassed over two billion global streams across music platforms.
